Naruto - An Impossible Dream

Like an old photograph, the autumn leaves don't move in the air. The only clouds are not in the sky, but on the strange unflattering cloak you never used to wear. We were walking through Konoha and people pointed and stared and the whisper of falling leaves became the whispers of failing faith in them, in you, in me.

Of course, they don't matter, and this is never going to happen between you and me, which is why I don't like to talk about my dreams. They clash with my ambitions, the ones you gave to me. I'll never tell another soul, but when you're dying, I'll be there, and I'll whisper these dreams of mine for you to hear.
